Volunteers are a valuable part of the Hervey Bay Special School community.
Volunteers are a valuable part of the Hervey Bay Special School community. Although many volunteers spend much of their time in classrooms there are many other ways volunteers are used within the school including:
- Supporting students during excursions
- Enhancing our grounds through ‘Working Bees’
- Maintaining school bikes lunch clubs for students.
Please note all volunteers must:
- Have a Queensland blue card prior to commencement
- Attend a school based induction program and complete Mandatory All Staff Training (for volunteers and induction)
